El Polvorin

If 6c climbing is in your bag the don't look any further. At the end of the Los Cotos ridge is a magnificant west facing wall of vertical rock, giving sustained, but seldom desperate routes on suberb featured rock. Some Climbers may find the bolts a bit apart but the routes have been rebolted and the bolts are in the right place when it matters. El Polvorin (The Gunpowder storage) is named after the little hut on its side which was used to store the explosives used to build the railway tunnels.

You will finde shade in the mornings and sun in the afternoon. To Access walk trough the tunnel in the Los Cotos ridge and turn left when you exit ion the other side. A small path leads you towards the hut and to a nice picknick platform.

Caution. Some of the routes need a 70m rope. Be carefull and tie a knot to the end of your rope.
